Other Highlights:- WOD: “Superb” – Excellent. For example – The group did a superb job using the word of the day. (Sometimes it’s nice to have an easy one!)
– First Labor Day was on 9/5/1882
– Was just a street parade for workers and families before it became a holiday
– Kierana, a guest, is a senior in high school ahead of schedule. She took home best Table Topics speaking to the beauty of Wyoming and how it was nice to be away from smart phones. (It was inspiring to see a young person make personal effort in her growth)
– Our other guest, Area Governor Patricia, filled in as an evaluator – Did you know you can visit other clubs? – Contact them ahead of time and volunteer for a speaking role!
– Sunny kept progress with an Ice Breaker in a new Pathways – Turns out she is a singer!!! (I vote for a performance at the holiday party!)
– Bob shared his enthusiasm for the night’s sky and made the audience laugh with his similar traits to Jupiter. His wife is like Venus!
– Scott encouraged single people to embrace adversity in dating as a way to reveal character – He also cautioned them to watch where they put their hands (Canine meadow muffin can be hard to spot)
– Nicole showed excellent structure in her evaluation style – Awesome feedback in a speech-like format!
