Other Highlights:

–          WOD – Zippy – Very quick or speedy

–          Approximately 58 million kids are enrolled in Pre-kindergarten through 12th Grade

–          Speech Writing Tip – A well paced speech will have 125-150 words per minute (remember to pause and not speak over laughter)

–          Bob won best speaker with a heartfelt, humorous, TOTALLY AWESOME speech about his fear of public speaking

–          Nadine taught the crowd about being a better salesperson – Listen to customers and ask for the sale are some key points

–          Griselda’s Table Topics brought back school memories for participants and Nicole took home the prize

–          Ed used great creative language when he said he felt “like a Padawan evaluating a Jedi” when giving feedback to Nadine –  http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Padawan

–          Jerome reminded speakers to be mindful to not turn your back to the audience

–          Need a Toastmaster for next week so sign up! Kyle is out of the hospital and will be moving back to Virginia to continue his healing.
