Have you ever seen the show Seinfeld? Of course you have!
One of the great things about that show is the use of “Callbacks” by their writers.
Basically a callback is bringing a theme or joke from earlier back at the end of a set.
You can use this in a humorous speech, as MC at an event or Toastmaster at your next meeting. You can even use it in Table Topics.
Pay attention to what is happening at the meeting and see if you can weave a theme or idea back in when it’s your turn to speak.
