Sunny and Nicole Chaired the Club Speech Contest (and did a FABULOUS job!)

13 Members + 2 Guests = 15 Attendees

3 International Speech Contestants / 2 Table Topics

Started on time and ended 10 minutes early 

Other Highlights:

–          The Table Topics Question was:   Some things are black and white in life while others are not.  Would you give up your life to save someone else?-          Bruce took home 1st Place in Table Topics and will represent the club in the Area Contest

–          Scott deconstructed the concept of “you” and encouraged using compassion to find deeper levels of yourself

–          Bruce discussed the power of fear, encouraging listeners to acknowledge their fears and “Just Jump” to face them

–          Bob used “TNT” (Takes No Talent) to inspire the audience to find simple ways to improve their lives

–          Scott took home 1st place in the International Speech Contest

–          THANK YOU Sunny and Nicole and all the other member volunteers who made the contest possible!

–          Nadine is running the Area Contest next week – Please bring a dish / refreshment if you plan on attending
