If you are like most people, the majority of your time is not spent speaking to a room full of people.
Suddenly you’re in front of an audience and all those faces staring at you can be intimidating.
You might naturally think there will be a bunch of smiling, happy, nodding faces looking back at you.
The reality is most of the people’s expressions will be blank stares.
As you prepare to go on stage, mentally remind yourself of those two things:
1. People will be staring at me
2. Most people’s faces will be blank stares
Surprisingly, this simple visualization can alleviate some of your initial discomfort as you take the stage.
Then go ahead and SHINE!
