Bob is one of my favorite speakers to watch at the club.
I think the main reason why I like his speeches is because they seem to be a vehicle for his curious soul to shine through.
He has this special quality to speak about a subject with so much enthusiasm that it gets me excited about it too.
Some of his speeches include:
His love of the night’s sky – and how he is like Jupiter and his wife is like Venus. (Jupiter is a big planet full of gas, Venus is beautiful) LOL!!
Hiking – he came in dressed as a camper and pretended he was telling a story around the campfire.
Graham’s number – only Bob can make a number sound so awesome and exciting!

TNT – “Takes No Talent” – a high school coach’s phrase to always do the little things well. Bob still uses the advice today by showing up to work on time.
Knot Tying – Yes, you read that right! Who knew that you could have so much fun with rope!
Learn from Bob when selecting your subject matter and inject enthusiasm into your speech. Your audience will thank you for it.
There is a great life lesson here too. Stay curious and be a life-long learner to bring consistent joy into your life!
