We are one of the largest clubs in the area and proudly achieved President’s Distinguished Status in 2019 and 2020. We consistently have between 20-25 members. Most meetings will have 10-15 people in attendance. Guests are always welcome to attend and see what we are all about. Ask a club officer for a membership application when you are ready to join. As far as investment, we are a non-profit organization where club members pay membership dues. The dues go to pay for Toastmasters International membership as well as club overhead like room rental, membership supplies and special events. There is a $40 one-time club membership and Toastmasters International fee bundled into your first payment.
The dues portion of your first payment is pro-rated depending on what month you join. After you join, dues are $81.00 due every 6 months on October and April 1st.

You can pay by check or online at www.lakenormantoastmasters.com. There is a “Pay Membership Dues” page on the left side menu. We need a hard copy of your application so please make sure you hand it to a Club Officer.
We can usually have your information input into our club website within a week of receiving your application. At that time you will be given a login which will allow you to sign up for roles. We will officially vote you into the club during our new member ceremony held on the first meeting of every month.
You will also be given a login into Toastmasters International’s website (www.toastmasters.org) where you will enroll in a Pathways that fits your speaking goals.
Many employers offer reimbursement for membership in Toastmasters. Better communicators make better leaders!
